Wilson Creative Group proudly donated the full campaign for the 2025 CBIA Sand Dollar Awards, providing all services pro bono. We dedicated our efforts to ensuring CBIA’s brand presence reflects the calibre and excellence the organization embodies.
For 2025, we developed the complete brand identity for the Sand Dollar Awards, themed A Nod to Mod. This concept celebrates the bold lines, geometry and innovation of midcentury modernism, connecting the iconic design era of 1945–1970 to the creativity driving today’s building community.
Created in collaboration with the CBIA committee chair, the branding strikes a balance between retro inspiration and contemporary polish.
Key creative elements include:
•Logo: Custom wordmark combining midcentury style with architectural precision
•Color Palette: Muted avocado, mustard, walnut and slate, refined for a modern audience
•Typography: Vintage-inspired display fonts paired with clean, legible supporting type
•Applications: Designed for cohesive use across signage, invitations, programs, merchandise and digital
The theme resonated with CBIA’s design-forward audience and gave sponsors a strong visual system to align with. The final result is a cohesive brand experience that honors’ the legacy of design while setting a stylish tone for one of Southwest Florida’s most anticipated industry events.
