This tranquil master suite of a mezzanine-level residence was thoughtfully designed to harmonize with the building’s coastal surroundings. The room’s aesthetic restates the innovative color palette and the organic curvilinear silhouettes found in main living rooms with restful hues of aqua, teal and soft blue-grays against cloud-white backdrops and bedding. The upholstered white flared headboard contrasts the blue-gray grasscloth on the bed wall, introducing texture that is echoed by an open-weave accent pillow and throw. Art is abstract and interpretive.
Spiraling white lamps with drum shades sit atop nightstands featuring fragmented mirror fronts, which beautifully reflect light beneath the eye-catching nickel-and-glass ring chandelier suspended from a deep tray ceiling. A plush oval teal bench anchors the foot of the bed. The sleek dresser’s warm wood tone perfectly echoes the hardwood flooring, ensuring visual continuity. Tucked into a cozy corner, a reading area with a lounge chair and nickel spotlight floor lamp with an integrated table provides a dedicated space for quiet relaxation and scenic tropical views overlooking Estero Bay.
Transparency defines the transition to the outdoors. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors with frond-patterned draperies in muted shades of aqua and blue frame the palm-fringed vistas and open to the wraparound terrace, where glass panels ensure uninterrupted views from the outdoor sectional and accompanying lounge chairs.
The master suite’s seamless floor plan effortlessly connects to the resort-style bath. Cohesion is maintained through a light wood vanity featuring a fluted front that mirrors the bedroom’s flooring. White Dekton with brown and grey veining and hints of gold sweeps across the floors, walls and countertops, integrating dual sinks alongside a freestanding oval tub with a floor-mounted faucet. Under-vanity and perimeter lighting around the two mirrors elevate the ethereal floating glow.
This soft illumination flows naturally into the boutique walk-in closet. Designed for premium livability, the custom space centers on a clear Lucite dressing table poised before a bronze-framed oval mirror and a coordinating metallic desk lamp.
