Romanza Interior Design – Rum Row Showcase Estate

This Naples estate’s multi-level outdoor areas are as meticulously curated as the interior, continuing the palette of blue, pale gray and taupe, with high-end finishes and clean-lined furnishings that mirror the architecture. Set under English walnut tongue-and-grove ceilings, the deep-set covered lanai offers a summer kitchen, an alfresco living room with a linear fireplace and TV, and a dining area, all overlooking the custom pool and a scenic harbor. Wall-spanning glass sliders in the great room and kitchen allow the floor plan to seamlessly flow outside, expanding options for entertaining and everyday living.
The layout maximizes livability, dividing the expansive backyard into distinct yet interconnected covered and open-air destinations for relaxation and grand-scale hosting. The outdoor kitchen showcases low-maintenance cypress-resin cabinetry with an arctic slate finish that contrasts with the lightness of the Dekton waterfall countertop. The porcelain tile countertop features a blue tone veiled streaks over a creamy gray-and-white background. Installed to highlight vertical veining, it also repeats on the fireplace surround and as a full-height backsplash on each side of the grill, which has a stainless-steel hood.
The lanai accommodates a dining table with 10 woven chairs adding texture and modernity while the living room features two sectional sofas, their accent pillows adding shades of blue paired with jaunty animal prints. Artwork is minimal, bowing to the drama of the finishes. Bronze motorized screens enhance livability.
The custom pool and the partially submerged spa echo the architecture’s linear emphasis and feature dark midnight blue surfaces, creating a lagoon effect that contrasts light-hued limestone pavers on the lanai and pool deck. The pool incorporates a shallow sun shelf and boasts hand-crafted glass mosaic waterline tiles shimmering in blue, golden sand and ebony. The spa’s subtle spillway creates a soundtrack of cascading water for alfresco areas.
A staircase leads to a distinct lower level of outdoor living along the harbor, creating a private waterside retreat the hardwood deck features four sun-drenched chaises, a spacious lounge anchored by a large sectional sofa.
