The kitchen of this Naples estate deliberately departs from standard open-concept design, embracing a traditional architectural philosophy that treats it as a distinct and intimate space rather than a mere extension of the great room. The transition between kitchen, main living areas and a hallway is more defined, while an expansive wall of sliding glass doors elevates spaciousness and the interplay of indoor and outdoor spaces.
This clever layout creates an opening that frames the room, casting attention to its focal points: the statement-making brushed stainless-steel range hood adorned with hammered metal accents and dramatic Oakleigh quartz countertops and backsplashes that captivate with high-contrast deep-black veins and delicate gold veining that shimmer under the light against a pristine white canvas.
The stone cascades down the waterfall countertop of the freestanding island, which integrates a premium Galley workstation sink and replaces the predictable breakfast bar with a custom built-in solid white oak table with a white base, a Durata-finished top and four white chairs with ebony bases illuminated by a trio of pendants. Overhead, architectural volume is beautifully defined by a wood-framed cloud ceiling, where dark-finished rift-sawn white oak beams frame crisp white veneered wood inserts.
The contrast continues via European white oak flooring, raven Caesarstone countertops and a combination of rift-sawn and snowfall white cabinetry featuring classic molding profiles and gray-ash, white and graphite hardware.
Classical symmetry also defines the kitchen. Custom doors with tuxedo ribbed glass on each side of the range wall open to reveal the butler’s pantry and the walk-in pantry with raven finishes. Enhancing the kitchen’s proportions, a wall of white cabinetry incorporates a coffee system with niches on each side, raven countertops and Flemish glass cabinetry with glass shelves and interior lighting. It’s balanced on the opposite wall by a partially paneled full-height wine refrigerator.
Designed as a hidden catering hub, the high-performance butler’s pantry boasts a large sink, an extra dishwasher and a bright aesthetic comprised of white and graphite metal cabinetry with back-painted bronze glass, raven countertops and a white deco gloss ridge backsplash below a lighted shelf.
