Designed for homeowners who like to entertain and appreciate a contemporary aesthetic, this beautiful custom kitchen incorporates a well-appointed butler’s pantry, a wet bar and a novel “chat area” – a comfortable lounge area for engaging with the chef. Functioning independently and as one, the innovative spaces are complementary in their material selections, design and flowing floor plan, masterfully created to enhance lifestyle and livability.

Emphasizing clean lines, the kitchen boasts custom white lacquered Poliform cabinetry and eye-catching Neolith Calacatta luxe stone that introduces dramatic movement and color with its gold, ochre and gray veining against a white background. It appears in the waterfall countertop of the extra-long freestanding island’s built-in raised table and the hood and backsplash above the six-burner Wolf stove. Vanilla ice quartz tops perimeter cabinetry while the generous workspace of the island offers a Galley sink, the warmth of elm and visual texture with a stain emphasizing a striated grain that nods to the kitchen’s linear qualities. A custom-hung cable chandelier with natural brass LED pendants illuminates the island; cove lighting in the dropped ceiling provides an ethereal glow.

A sophisticated appliance suite speaks to luxury and includes a Sub-Zero refrigerator and full-height freezer, built-in wall ovens including a steam oven, and a full-size wine refrigerator. The adjacent wet bar offers refrigerated drawers, ample storage, raven-hued Caesarstone countertops and a full-height backsplash, and elm cabinetry with smoked glass-fronts that echo the look of a custom-designed three-sided display providing visual separation between the kitchen and dining room. The adjoining chat area’s four lounge chairs interject soft curves as do the island’s barstools.

Serving as a convenient prep kitchen, the butler’s pantry is flooded with natural light, courtesy of eight-foot windows. With openings on each side of the perimeter cooktop cabinetry, it’s thoughtfully designed for flow and maintaining a pristine main kitchen while entertaining. The butler’s pantry features
cement-colored quartz countertops and white cabinetry and offers a sink, coffee system, refrigerated drawers, a second dishwasher and additional workspace.

A walk-in pantry with sliding barn doors takes advantage of unused space under the staircase.
