This home was a spec that we were given a pretty tight budget on the finishes and decor for a home of this size, but we were able to be creative and really add some custom features to make this home stand out and sell after only being on the market for a short amount of time. We really wanted to create a luxiourious home but still keeping the coastal flare that reflects the area we live. We did a lot of natural matte white oak mixed with a more traditional white v groove T&G. Ceiling details and millwork were very important to us, to really make this home stand out and look more like a custom, curated private residence and not a spec home. For the floors, we did custom herringbone inlays in the foyer and hallway to create some visual interest. When you walk in we added a wall of applied moulding with in a bold navy blue paint. In the lounge space we did a beautiful white oak stepped ceiling that really accentuated the ceiling height and added some warmth to the space. We did a beautiful navt blue bar that tied into the navy wall in the Foyer and accent the space with beautiful camel colored velvet swivel chairs, making this a great space to enjoy drinks or good conversation with friends. In the Study, we did a beautiful textured wall covering and over scaled natural pendant to create drama and turn your head when you walk buy this space to the Master Bedroom. In the Master Bedroom, we did a bold headboard to really create a refined space but softened it with beautiful sheer drapery. The Master Bath we did a combination of white oak cabinets with beautiful custom designed white reeded mirror frames that are accented by white plaster sconces. We really love the play of sophistication, yet calming natural woods, light fixtures and textured fabrics. We love to mix and match furniture, play with different wood species and really layer the bedding to create a curated custom home.
