Everyone knows that the Kitchen is the heart of the home and this one definitely fits the bill. Due to the angles of the home’s structure in order to maximize the view from every point, the kitchen layout followed suit. This bright, expansive chef’s kitchen is a masterpiece of modern coastal design. Featuring a large center island with a white textured quartz countertop and contrasting black metal trim detail on the two ends, it provides generous prep space allowing for the smaller second island to feature the casual seating. Clean white painted cabinetry paired with warm rift-cut white oak wood details and brushed gold hardware creates a timeless and elevated look. The cost of the kitchen was run through the contractors pricing with the homeowner, but every detail was curated and planned by the interior designer.

Flooded with natural light and opening directly to ocean views through expansive sliding doors, the kitchen flows effortlessly into the living and outdoor spaces. High-end appliances, an abundance of storage, and a clean airy layout make this the perfect hub for both daily living and memorable gatherings.

The highlight of the large center island is the 60″ workstation sink highlighted with two matching brushed gold faucets where beauty meets function. A custom wood hood hovers gracefully over the 48″ Wolfe range flanked by matching thick wood floating shelves, a quiet moment to be able to introduce some curated accessories for texture and pattern accented with a chunky natural woven grass cloth.

This kitchen features an open Scullery, perfect for catering and additional workspace and storage. With a second sink, faucet, and dishwasher, this area is perfect for when extra room is required. Tall matte black metal doors create an open view pantry storage with a contrasting stained rift-cut white oak interior to add textured and depth to the large cabinets. With an open concept main living space, the bar in the living room ties in effortlessly with the kitchen, mirroring some of the same details to add fluidity between the spaces. The antique mirror backsplash adds the perfect reflection of the coastal views. The custom matte black metal and glass door and surround for the refrigerated walk-in wine room showcases the same wood veneer wallcovering from the staircase design and accented with a floating black and matte gold wine rack system.
