The homeowners requested we construct a private office suite. The lady of the house needed an office to work and manage day to day operations of her business.
* Homeowners requested all major construction be completed within 6 months before
their family arrived for the Christmas holidays.
* To create the largest possible space, the addition was positioned directly at the rear
corner of the property line, which is 10 feet beyond the city or county side setback
requirements. To meet the requirements of the ARB the room was repositioned to meet their 20 foot side set back.
* Outside, the tankless hot water heater needed to be entirely relocated as it would interfere
with the construction of the addition.
* Sourced exterior materials that match existing homes including roof tiles, windows
and doors, stucco and trim detail.
* Researched and sourced interior custom moldings as well as specialty wood flooring
to match existing.
* Replaced master bedroom window with new entry to office suite.
* Created custom cabinetry wall for files as well as hiding all office equipment.
