As part of a comprehensive first-floor renovation, this custom His and Hers primary closet suite was designed to support the homeowners’ vision for a more convenient, accessible lifestyle without compromising on luxury or design. More than simply creating beautiful closets, the objective was to develop personalized spaces that would enhance their daily routines while complementing the sophisticated architecture and finishes of the newly renovated home.

Every design decision balanced functionality with refined craftsmanship. A warm Morning Light finish paired with Cool Avenue backing and accent doors establishes a timeless foundation, while matte gold framed glass doors, Buffalo Umber leather drawer fronts, and Oyster leather-wrapped hardware introduce texture, warmth, and furniture-inspired detailing. Extensive integrated lighting and illuminated display shelving enhance both the functionality of the spaces and the rich material palette, creating elegant displays for handbags, accessories, and treasured personal items.

The homeowners wanted spaces that supported the way they live, and every detail reflects that goal. Her closet features a custom vanity and a dedicated wellness area designed for morning yoga and meditation, taking advantage of natural light and views to create a peaceful retreat. His closet incorporates a built-in washer and dryer, dedicated hanging space for laundry, charging stations, and thoughtfully planned storage that simplifies everyday routines. Custom leather-lined drawer organizers, valet rods, specialty storage, and personalized organizational solutions ensure every item has a designated place while maintaining a clean, sophisticated aesthetic.

The finished project transforms the traditional concept of a primary closet into a collection of spaces that support organization, wellness, and everyday living. By combining exceptional craftsmanship with personalized design, the closets have become a seamless extension of the home and a reflection of the homeowners’ lifestyle, proving that luxury is defined as much by how a space functions as by how it looks.
