The Primary Suite at 174 Carica Road was designed as a private retreat where comfort, craftsmanship, and everyday living come together. Created specifically for the homeowners, every detail reflects a highly personalized approach to custom home design, balancing luxury with functionality while providing a peaceful sanctuary within the home.
The spacious bedroom is anchored by a handcrafted Greek key feature wall, a custom millwork design inspired by the homeowners’ Greek heritage. More than a decorative element, it creates a meaningful focal point that reflects the family’s personal story while showcasing exceptional craftsmanship.
The suite was planned to simplify everyday living. Separate his-and-her walk-in closets, private water closets with Toto smart toilets, a spacious spa-inspired walk-in shower, an in-suite laundry with a stackable washer and dryer, and an integrated garment care steam closet allow daily routines to be completed with comfort, privacy, and efficiency. Every design decision reflects the homeowners’ lifestyle and priorities rather than following traditional expectations.
One of the suite’s most distinctive features is its seamless connection to a private outdoor garden retreat. Folding nano doors open directly to a secluded outdoor shower surrounded by lush landscaping, creating a wellness-focused space that extends the suite beyond the walls of the home and provides a quiet place to relax and recharge.
Technology was thoughtfully integrated throughout the suite to enhance comfort without overwhelming the design. Control4 smart home automation allows the homeowners to manage lighting, climate, motorized shades, and entertainment systems with ease, creating a personalized environment tailored to their daily lifestyle.
This project demonstrates that an exceptional Primary Suite is more than a beautiful bedroom and bath. It is a carefully planned private retreat designed around the people who live there. From the custom Greek-inspired millwork to the wellness-focused indoor and outdoor spaces, every element was intentionally selected to reflect the homeowners’ lifestyle while providing comfort, privacy, and complete peace of mind.
