EDGE – Quail West Custom Bunk Room

Good design for children doesn’t mean sacrificing quality. It means applying the same level of craft and intention to their space as every other room in the home.
This custom bunk room was designed from the ground up with that in mind. The built-in bunk beds are structurally reinforced and fully integrated into the architecture of the room, built to hold up to the reality of how kids actually use their space. The ladders were custom designed and ordered in solid wood, chosen for both durability and the warmth they bring to the overall aesthetic. Each bed has its own designer wall sconce and a built-in wall niche, giving every child a sense of ownership over their own corner of the room. A windowed sitting area with built-in cabinetry and open shelving keeps the space organized and inviting, and a Jack and Jill bathroom connection means kids can move independently without disrupting the rest of the household.
The result is a room that takes children seriously. One that’s thoughtfully crafted, genuinely functional, and designed to be a space kids actually want to be in.
