Flanked by a butler’s pantry and a walk-in food pantry, this kitchen was crafted for a home chef with a passion for cooking and hosting large gatherings. Designed to be both striking and functional, the space blends refined aesthetics with thoughtful practicality.
Cabinetry stretches to the 12’-4” ceiling on the perimeter of the room, emphasizing scale and creating vertical drama. Sleek 4” recessed lighting adds a clean, modern rhythm overhead, while black-framed windows flood the room with natural light. A custom plaster hood softens the backdrop with organic texture, floating above a ledge formed by Mystery White marble countertops—ideal for spices and styling.
Framing the range wall, full-height black metal cabinets with glass fronts offer generous storage and curated display without visual heaviness. The remaining cabinetry pairs crisp white with warm sandstone tones, finished with Emtek’s dual-tone knurled pulls in matte black and satin brass. Appliances are subtly integrated behind panel-ready fronts, preserving the kitchen’s seamless flow. Cabinetry door profiles strike a balance between sleek minimalism and timeless detail.
To the right, behind full-height white panels, two 36” Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezers with ice makers are hidden in plain sight. Opposite them, a dedicated beverage center provides space for coffee service and entertaining essentials. Centered on the back wall, a 60” Wolf dual-fuel range—with six burners and a French Top—anchors the space with commercial-grade presence.
At the heart of the room, two 13-foot islands offer ample prep, storage, and seating. Each includes Smartstation undermount sinks, refrigerator and freezer drawers with ice makers, dishwashers, and integrated waste systems. The sandstone-toned island bases contrast beautifully with surrounding white cabinetry, while nutmeg-stained ceiling beams and hardwood floors add warmth and grounding.
The front island doubles as a gathering spot, with countertop overhang and seating for seven, illuminated by three bold black-and-gold pendants—a perfect blend of function and flair.
