With clean lines echoing the estate’s architecture and a dramatic two-level design with an infinity-edge, the oversized saltwater pool provides the backdrop – and soundtrack of flowing water – for expansive outdoor living areas as well as interior rooms. Iridescent 1-inch mosaic glass tile in shades of silk-finished blue elevate visual intrigue by casting a dynamic light-reflecting shimmer on waterlines, the raised sides of the 360-degree raised spa, a sheer descent, pedestals and a raised wall.
Water cascades from four concrete water bowls, the spa and over the infinity edge, enhancing relaxation and a resort-inspired ambiance. Featuring an ebony finish, the bowls thoughtfully reiterate black elements found in the estate’s exterior and interior architecture and design, and contrast with the blue of the water and the white of clean-lined furnishings, brushed shellstone pavers and bevel-edge shellstone pool coping.
On the upper level, a shallow sun shelf provides space for two in-pool chaises, its size and shape mimicking that of the spa on the opposite side. The lower-level deck offers plenty of space for six chaises. Lush, grassed areas, landscaping and built-in planters with palm trees are integrated into the design, softening and balancing the hardscape. Saltwater reduces the environmental impacts of harsh chlorine, while the durability of selected materials contributes to longevity and sustainability. An LP heating system offers further environmental benefits by utilizing clean-burning fuel, producing fewer emissions than standard pool heaters. The pool and outdoor areas also showcase golf course views.
