This unique kitchen is one for the books! The island is over 14′ long and encompasses a 5′ wide Galley Workstation–more fabulous than your average sink. The custom cabinetry designed collaboratively between our firm and Ruffino Custom Cabinetry is quite unique. The custom open air end cap details were hand built from a concept sketch. Subzero appliances are discreetly hidden behind decorative cabinet doors leaving one guessing where the goodies are! The oversized zinc hood with antique brass straps is an original design for this kitchen as well as the wall to wall stone ledge incorporated into the back splash. On the perimeter wall, the countertops flow effortlessly into the window sill allowing plenty of room for an herb garden. The integrated display cabinet blurs the line between kitchen and dining. The auxiliary kitchen behind the main kitchen allows the main kitchen to stay tidy while the mess is made behind the scenes. An undercounter refrigerator and icemaker are disguised while double Miele ovens take a back seat in this area. This area has easy access to the pantry with plenty of open shelf storage. This kitchen exemplifies the latest direction of luxury kitchen design in every way. From the finishes, details, profiles, countertop thickness, light fixtures and overall layout, this is the ideal kitchen design.
