Our passion in designing and building this custom home stems from the lifestyle of our client. Each home we build is unique to the way our clients actually live, work, and play in their homes. We thoughtfully design every home from scratch, taking into consideration the landscape and natural elements of each setting along with the wants and needs of the people living in them. We also recognize the importance of incorporating eco-friendly building products both inside and out in an effort to preserve our environment. This well-rounded approach to designing and building has created happy homeowners for the past quarter of a century. The featured home’s style reflects a transitional coastal design with a mixture of warm and cool finishes. While our client leans toward a traditional style, we had fun implementing some contemporary elements while still keeping the integrity of the client’s somewhat more traditional preferences. Entertaining family and friends was a top priority for this homeowner. The open first floor living area allows for large gatherings and the wall of disappearing slider doors provides an easy transition to the spacious outdoor living areas. The second floor offers guests a private retreat with personal balconies, private bathrooms and a family room loft area. Special features abound in this 4,600 square foot home. The office doubles as a guest room with a custom built fold-down Murphy bed concealed within the wall of bookcases. One of the homeowner’s favorite features is the kitchen’s hidden walk-in pantry, that nearly doubles as a back kitchen. And the sprawling “hers” closet features convenient access to the laundry room. Many more custom elements were incorporated into the design, making the home truly spectacular.
