This classic, transitional interior design was specifically created to complement our clients incredible collection of art. Upon exiting the private elevator, an inlaid waterjet mosaic tile made of onyx and thassos covers the entry floor from wall to wall. Once you enter, you are welcomed by a large portrait by Chuck Close and an entertaining area to sip cocktails all night long. The onyx dry bar is alluring and leaves everyone speechless in awe of this stone’s natural depth and beauty. Each room simply complements the clients broad collection of art from wall to wall. Featured in the master bath, a gold framed oil painting brings bright colors to a rather neutral area with natural wood like cabinets. A thirteen and half foot long headboard stops you in your tracks as you enter the master bedroom and brings your eyes from the floor, to ceiling, to ocean. The turquoise and emerald water from the Gulf of Mexico carries you from indoor to outdoor living. Our clients can access the balcony from the master ensuite office and main living area to enjoy the panoramic views of the ocean. This particular project was a new construction condo that was partially completed by the developer. We were brought in to complete the main floor coverings as well as all the interior architecture millwork detailing. We designed several custom millwork features including rift cut white oak paneling that designated the entry to the master bedroom as well as custom built-ins in the family room and great room. Custom millwork defined the master bedroom feature wall as well as the opening into the sunset study. The great room wall boasts Maya Romanoff capiz shell tiles inset into white oak custom built in featuring floating shelves and a custom niche for the television to set into. Decorative wallcoverings clad all of the bathrooms and entry foyer.
