This project is a “labor of love” and the relationship with client, general contractor, architect, landscape architect and interior designer was symbiotic from the beginning….producing a successful transformation that retained very little of its original presence. Client purchased original home of 6,000 sq. ft. (under air) and this space was stripped of all of its original details and plan layouts. Then, another 5,000 sq. ft. (under air) of living space as well as another 2,000 sq. ft. of open space was added on to give the client and larger home. Original architecture and interior design was “outdated” and client wanted a more luxurious, tranquil, organic and comfortable modern look. Colors selected blended with the landscape outside and architectural elements were transformed into unique “works of art” throughout. Intricate ceiling designs and lighting sources by designer added to the metamorphosis of the residence, as did the original flooring patterns & materials and custom details throughout. The client also bought the side lot which was developed into a tropical outdoor paradise with a new Pavilion that housed additional kitchen, bar and living spaces. Also included are a tiki thatched roof jacuzzi, bocci court, firepit, golfing green and a meanduring “lazy river” floating through and connecting everything. The client has stated that this new residence and its’ surrounding property are their paradise on earth!!!
