$9,000,001 – $11,000,000
The interior designer team spent as much time on the master suite of this 17,200+-square foot estate as they did on any other main room in the home, creating a space that is simple and clean without being cold or foreboding. Traditional touches appear in the extensive millwork and peaceful neutral palette, while contemporary finishes offer plentiful glitz and glamour appropriate for such a luxurious, intimate space. The master bedroom’s large bay window is architecturally driven. It is an unusual space for a ceiling detail, but the interior designers intent was to guide the eye out towards the outdoor living area. The builder installed the masterpiece complete with intricately designed ceilings, and the aesthetic was completed with swivel chairs and a custom ottoman. The master baths outdoor garden was originally designed as a zen garden and is hidden from neighbors by lush, mature native landscaping and a custom pergola. The Calacatta polished marble tile from Ruben Sorhegul Tile is breathtakingly positioned alongside the three inlaid stone carpets. Behind the his-and-hers vanity mirrors are hidden televisions, perfect for viewing the morning news or binge-watching favorite shows from the Oak Hill soaking tub. The homeowners were out of town during the interior installations. The interior designer team particularly enjoyed revealing the finished product to them during a grand tour, comparing the clients elation to that of kids on Christmas morning.
