$1,000,001 – $1,500,000
Private Residence

This custom home was built for a couple moving to Naples from Illinois who originally bought the property with the intention to renovate the existing home. However, when they started taking the home apart, they realized there were nicotine stains throughout the home on the drywall and asbestos in the garage! Their hopes to renovate had to quickly shift to seeing if they could afford to tear down and build new.

Not sure what to do, a friend introduced them to our company and we helped them come up with a plan to get them into a NEW home as soon as possible. We recommended a draftsman whom we have a great relationship with and had him design a functional great room plan with three bedrooms and a study…exactly what the couple wanted. It all fit perfectly on the lot in a one-story plan while also giving them an expansive pool.

The owners wanted to make sure they could get a full-size lap pool to swim in for exercise. Once this was laid out with the house design, we were ready to price it and get the construction underway. We were very selective with the finishes to keep the home’s cost within what the neighborhood deserves – we didn’t want them to overbuild for the area.

The home consisted of almost 4,000 square feet total and construction took only 12 months, during which COVID-19 was causing labor shortages, material delays and business closures.

The modernized finishes for the home’s price-point include:
• Wood-Look Tile Flooring
• Thermador Appliance Package
• Outdoor Kitchen with Grill
• Two Fire Bowls Surrounding Pool
• Glass Tile Surrounding Pool
• Quartz Countertops
• Decorative Tile in all Bathrooms
• Metal Roof
• Impact-Rated Windows and Sliding Glass Doors
• Roll-Down Screens at Outdoor Living Area

Overall, the clients are beyond ecstatic with their new home and are even continuing their real estate search to see if they find the right fit to build a spec home with the same builder and architect. We were happy to have met their budget, stayed within the time frame and kept happy neighbors during construction.
