Simple intentional design was the formula for this kitchen. Classic elements, like white painted custom cabinetry, were mixed with natural textures and colors to create a focal point in this open-concept home. The symmetrical range wall is outfit with a Wolf Range, and completely custom hood surround made from oak paneling, in a driftwood stain that is reminiscent of the beautiful wide-plank wood flooring. This finish can be seen carried through to the double islands, and the beams in the ceiling overhead for a consistent look. The island are extremely functional in that they contain expansive amounts of storage, and a Bosch panel ready dishwasher. The perimeter cabinetry adjacent to the island contain a panel ready Sub-Zero fridge/freezer combo, and a concealed pantry door made from custom cabinetry for seamless look.

The practical, and attractive quartz counter top is used on all surfaces, including the range wall backsplash.

All other appliances are contained within the butler’s pantry behind the range wall. This cabinetry features the same painted white classic look, mixed with a fun backsplash tile to add a bit of character.

The secondary kitchen island is perfect for entertaining and dining. Four counter stools serve as the seating at this island. They have a wonderful hand-woven rope frame, and dark wood legs. The seat cushion is upholstered in a grey/ blue indoor/ outdoor fabric, which makes dining here worry-free! Suspended above the island are two oversized pendants that make such a statement. They have large glass globes and are accented with black hardware. This hint of black can also be seen in the butler’s pantry, as well as the adjacent dining room, and bar for a harmonious look.

The ability to house only the necessary elements in the kitchen, and the rest in the butler’s pantry, allowed for this kitchen to truly become a showpiece in this home. The thoughtful finishes really made this space come together.
