Ave Maria offers several on-site educational centers including Ave Maria University, offering more than 31 undergraduate majors and 28 minors and the Rhodora J. Donahue Academy for grades K-12.
Land conservation is an important component of Ave Maria. The developer of Ave Maria has set aside over 17,000 acres of nearby land for preservation, restoring it to its natural state. The community features over 100 miles of walking, biking and hiking paths.
