The Partridge house is a custom home created and designed for clients who wanted a clean transitional look with hints of contemporary elements. This is achieved through open layouts, custom built-ins, and crisp colors, textures, and shapes. This home is unique to the way our clients actually live, work, and play in their home. We designed this home taking into consideration the landscape and natural elements of each setting. We incorporated eco-friendly building products both inside and out in an effort to preserve our environment which is important to us and our clients.
Each room has a different theme/feel. For instance, the master suite has glamorous coastal elements while the other bedrooms/baths have neutral textures, an airy feel, and modern navy color palettes. The main living area is fully open to the dining room and kitchen allowing the dining area to have a casual ambiance instead of a separate formal room. This home also provides ample outdoor living spaces with an expansive lanai with an outdoor kitchen, a large dock, and an extensive second floor back balcony that overlooks a canal. Furthermore, furnishings were specially selected to enhance the décor of each space.
An unusual opportunity this project presented is that the client is an avid swimmer. It was important to them to have a pool where they could swim long laps. We were able to accomplish this while still allowing it to look like a residential pool and not look commercial. It also worked cohesively with the lot parameters.
