This coastal transitional home is all about the water views. The kitchen was designed for the owner who loves to cook and wanted to enjoy the beautiful view while she spends time in the kitchen.

The island, painted in a custom color, features shelving on the side for cook books, a beautiful apron front sink, separate filtered water faucet, large counter space, custom hanging brass pendants and shiplap detail for a coastal feel. Pop-up outlets installed in the island also charge cell phones. Wood ceiling beams add interest and warmth to the space.

The perimeter features a wolf subzero dual fuel gas range with a beautiful custom hood and a handmade tile backsplash in shades of white. A wall of cabinetry conceals the side-by-side wolf subzero fridge and freezer and a hidden pantry.

The hidden pantry was designed to be as beautiful as the kitchen itself. The generous space is an entertainer’s dream. Serving as a back kitchen with oven/microwave and warming drawers, it’s the perfect space to hide all the “mess” of entertaining. The beautiful white oak floating shelves allow for ease in grabbing coffee cups, plates and bowls. The large “pantry cabinet’ within the pantry provides plenty of added storage. The mix of teal cabinetry, soft white handmade tile, white oak cabinets and wood floors creates a beautiful space (and a fun surprise) to peek at when the door is open.
