Romanza Interior Design – Aqualane Shores Estate

Glimmers of gold in art, chandeliers and lamps add a touch of old Hollywood glamor to the wing-spanning master suite and bathroom of this showcase estate, a five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom private residence in Naples. Filled with natural sunlight and designed for luxury homebuyers, the suite boasts a large bedroom under a dropped ceiling, dual walk-in closets and a luxurious bathroom with two vanities on each side of an elegant freestanding tub, plus double water closets, and a spacious glass-front shower with a window.

Floor-to-ceiling windows and a French door overlook the lavish landscaping of outdoor areas and lead to a private deck near the pool and spa. The bathroom’s white-on-white surfaces create a dramatic canvas for the shock of verdant greens revealed by the large window behind the sculptural rectangular tub.

Wallpaper accents the hallway ceiling, where art and lighting foreshadow the suite’s Midas touch. The interior design is quiet and soft. The neutral palette limits colors to shades of beige, taupe and off-white, relying on texture and wood tones of honey, hazelnut, ivory and soft silver and gold. Furniture features simple and clean lines, nodding to shape in the curves of the bench in front of the bed, mid-century design in the drum nightstands and the combination of silver and gold in the custom dresser and the mirror above. Subtle pattern appears only in the bedroom’s simple window treatments.

The master bathroom features white paired with creams and beiges and repeats the polished porcelain tile flooring – in a larger 48-by-48-inch format – used in other parts of the home for continuity. Off-white vanities boast waterfall quartz countertops with warm translucent gray veins against a white background. The frosted acrylic and glass chandelier was selected for its sparkle and movement. Opposite one vanity is a barely-there Lucite dressing table with a fuzzy pouf ottoman for enhanced softness. The oversized shower is clad in porcelain, marble and jeweled hexagon tile.
