In the Kitchen we continued the theme with the warm rift cut white oak cabinets that we accented with a custom zinc hood. The oversized island with a Monte Blanc Quartzite waterfall edge is accented with a beautiful oversized multi-tiered pendant of blown glass. In the Kitchen we also mixed in some black to bring some of that modern feel to this space. We also did different types of cabinet hardware and added backplates to the hardware on the black cabinets to really customize this area as we feel hardware is like jewelry and really elevates the space.
– Range wall we added a full height backsplash and shelf out of the quartzite that was both aesthetically pleasing as well as functional.
– Bar area we did a unique glass backsplash that really elevated the space.
– Decorative multi pendant light fixture – this was a unique situation as the ceiling detail was not centered of the island (from the front of the island to the range wall) because of truss and HVAC constraints , so we could not do pendants as we usually did and selected this incredible fixture that really made a statement. We installed it higher since it was not centered over the island and it really became a statement in the space.
