Building on a key lot is notoriously challenging but looking through the storefront entry all you see is the stunning view. The architect did a wonderful job of designing a layout to maximize the breathtaking views of Clam Bay, including a water view from every bedroom. The porcelain TV wall cladding in the living room extends through the master entryway and into the outdoor living area, offering a seamless transition from indoor to outdoor living space. Specialty details abound in this home creating thoughtful connections and many points of interest as you move from space to space.

Of the many exquisite details of Island Glamour, one that is of particular enthusiasm for our client is the custom wine wood wall in their study. Our client fell in love with the repurposed wine-barrel material while visiting one of our local vendors. There was only 110 square feet available for a 100 square foot wall and door. Our trim carpenters did a masterful job matching the lines of the wall to do the barn door that rolls on a concealed track so that, when closed, it hides in plain site. This wall also provides an artful feature from outside the home as you gaze through the large triple-window at the front elevation.
