The objective of this project was for the homeowner to have a completely custom home; something never before seen in past homes they’ve built as this is not the first rodeo with building new construction. Starting the build job in the summer aka rainy season then having to weather (no pun intended) the threat of hurricanes and tropical storms all summer, along with lingering Covid-19 and supply chain issues were the biggest challenges for the project. Perfect planning by the team and site’s superintendent got the homeowner in with results exceeding their expectations.
With .38 acres to work with, we were able to fit 5,682 sq. ft. of living space and a home that serves as the homeowner’s private waterfront oasis. The outdoor living area creates a dramatic effect as you walk out the sliders onto the pool deck overlooking the custom pool and spa, dining/living space, and water views. High-end finishes continue inside the home as well: Ruffino custom cabinetry, Wolf-SubZero appliances, Legno Bastone European oak floors, and beautiful wood work owners are accustomed to seeing from the builder is prevalent throughout. This two-story transitional/coastal style residence has something for everyone in the family.
