• The kitchen in this home was the center of the home with a large U-shaped island with a raised bar that you could not sit at made working at the island awkward. The distance between the cook top and the island was double what it should have been and it encroached on the great room. Storage in the kitchen was limited as well as very few drawers.
• We transitioned the kitchen into a working kitchen with an eat at same level island bar that has additional storage area at the seating area, 2 large pantries with rollout tray storage, roll-out trash next to the single bowl sink. The island counter was built using “Pompeii Cielo” with the perimeter counters using “Pompeii Avorio” quartz. In order to build in the cabinets and make a mor custom look we extended the cabinets up to the ceiling using upper cabinets with glass doors and puck lighting. The custom hand made glass tile by Argento, 50% Silk 50% Pearl finish mosaic washing the walls with multi colored light greens giving the kitchen a soft color transition.
