KGT Remodeling – Deer Crossing Condo Remodel

• The kitchen in this home is undeniably open and updated with emphasis on function and design elements. The existing kitchen had many walls with Tuscan arches making the area dark and closed in, the workspace was small and dated, there was one entrance into the kitchen and breakfast room combined with low soffits and drop-down ceilings. The raised bar further impeded the natural light into the kitchen and was not large enough to eat at.  
• We removed walls, raised ceilings, designed a new kitchen that was open with a large island with ample seating and cabinet storage. Because we removed the low ceiling, we were able to install taller cabinets, increasing storage. We included a large pantry with roll-out trays, a double roll-out trash next to the large single bowl sink, and a beverage center with under counter fridge and lighted glass shelf wall cabinet display for the special items. The cabinets are Conestoga Wood shaker in Designer White with Pompeii quartz “Volaza” countertops highlighted by Lunada Bay, Pisa Pearl backsplash. To brighten the kitchen, we added under cabinet LED tape lighting, LED recess lighting with pendant lighting that accent the costal décor. The new space feels much larger with plenty of storage cabinets, what was once a dark chopped up space has an integrated flow that is perfect for entertaining and everyday use.
