Illuminated Design – Luminous Wine Bar

This project was very unique because the client had somewhat of an idea of what he was looking for, but also trusted us to create the look for him. In fact, this client wanted translucent and backlit stone in several areas of his house – which created a sophisticated, contemporary, upgraded and refreshed look.  
Before our upgrade, this bar area in particular had been paradoxically a darker spot in the house (even though the clients used this quite a bit for entertaining). We collaborated with the client on how to brighten up the space while keeping an alluring look. By using quartzite, this type of stone worked amazingly as it was very versatile and easy-to-work with.
