The Pointe at Founders Square 
 
The Pointe at Founders Square is a 40,000 sq. ft. retail center with 12 units that house a variety of locally known and national restaurants. The area around the intersection of Immokalee Road and Collier Blvd. in Collier County, FL has experienced a tremendous boom in new home construction over the past decade. Unfortunately, restaurants, salons and other retail establishments have not kept pace. The Pointe at Founders Square was built to address this need and to bring a real taste of Naples to this growing area. 
 
The style and approach to the Pointe at Founders Square was to take familiar materials from the local vernacular and use them in a unique modern approach, a twist on Florida Plantation. The building was purposely configured and situated so that it would not be a typical strip[ center of 40,000 sf in one straight line but to take advantage of its corner positioning and allow for three sides to face the major roadways and the major roadway intersection and face outward while using the mass of the building to screen its own service area within the building footprint.  
 
The lush landscaping, expanded sidewalk and amenities allows for the numerous dining establishments to extend their brand and environment to an open-air experience. The architecture of the façade allows for individual tenant identity and a village feel and providing a wonderful environment for people to just stroll and enjoy the atmosphere.  
 
The Pointe is the centerpiece of Founder’s Square, a 55 acre mixed-use development of at least 8 restaurants, a 400- unit apartment community, a two-story medical office building, a three-story self-storage center, and many other complimentary buildings. It has transformed this area of Collier County.
