Our clients came to us with a new home construction project and specific ideas on how they wanted their home to look and feel. The idea was to create a space evoking a sophisticated yet casual feel with tone on tone neutral colors and rich textures.

The great room was grounded with white oak beams in the recessed ceiling to complement the wide plank oak wood floors found throughout the home. The expansive wall in the great room designated for media accessories required a custom design to center the client’s television and function as the focal point of the room. Storage was also a priority. The result was the sleek, custom built media wall mount and asymmetric floating cabinet that immediately gets your attention as you enter the home. A jewel like crystal ring chandelier gives the crowning touch to the main living space furnished with plush white sofas and contemporary lounge chairs upholstered in a rich, textured fabric.

Having ample dining space just off of the kitchen area, the homeowners decided to convert the formal dining room into a den. A custom built-in with ample storage, shelves and twin desks were created. A textured metallic ombre’ hand-painted wall opposing the white built-ins brought in the warm backdrop for the client’s modular lounge chairs and ottomans.

The clients wanted the primary suite to be their sanctuary. Luxurious tone on tone bedding and window panels were selected to complement the brown/grey tones of the bedroom furniture. The headboard wall was designed with horizontally mounted trim, creating a simple yet noteworthy architectural detail. The client’s own collection of original contemporary art brings in the punch of color and visual interest to this primary suite.

The home’s lanai gives over 800 square feet of outdoor living space surrounding the pool. A large outdoor kitchen with a stone backsplash centers the outdoor dining space. A separate living area with comfortable outdoor seating is located just beyond the sliders of the client’s great room. When all of the sliders are opened, it creates a seamless indoor outdoor area perfect to use for entertaining.

The guest suite with its adjacent pool bath and direct access to the lanai and pool was designed with the idea of giving the client’s guests a resort hotel feel. It was important to the client to choose stylish and comfortable furniture and plush bedding that always leaves an impression on their guests. We can be certain that with all of the appointments we have chosen for this home, the clients have an endless roster of friends scheduling extended stays.
