Our clients presented us with a project to select and design the background finishes of their condominium along with furnishings to meet their dreams of an upscale Florida getaway that reflected their big city sensibility and esthetics.

Upon entry into the condominium, we designed an elevator foyer that was not only functional in terms of an upholstered bench and custom cabinetry for storage, but also very warm and inviting with exquisite wall covering and a custom wood floor. The herringbone pattern of this floor continues beyond the double doors that lead to the living space.

High gloss venetian plaster ceilings reflect light creating a more spacious feel to the space. High gloss finishes continue with the Kinon wrapped feature wall separating the dining room and the living room. A Kinon wrapped dome in the ceiling recess of the dining space houses the stunning bullet shaped chandelier. A walnut wood dining table with polished brass details along with the leather and velvet upholstered chairs add to the upscale feel for the client’s formal dinners.

On the other side of the high gloss wall is the formal living space. A custom sectional in a neutral fabric is adorned with plush velvet pillows in shades of blue and grey. Adjacent to the living room is an area which serves as the client’s study. The distinct feature of this area is the custom built-in with bleached walnut shelving and leather-wrapped panels with metal reveals. The mirror backed niches serves as the client requested tequila bar.

In the family room, a custom sectional in a neutral fabric was designed with plush sofa pillows in shades of blue and orange; a continuing color palette for the rest of the condo. The media wall set in front of floor to ceiling windows was wrapped with asymmetric bleached walnut panels.

The kitchen continues the reflective gloss white cabinets with the rich white, ivory and gold undertones of the Cristallo quartzite backsplash and countertops. The adjacent breakfast nook is an inviting area just steps from the balcony with views of the gulf just beyond.

The modern esthetic of the condo continues into the master suite. A custom upholstered headboard and bed with leather and walnut panels adds to the upscale feel that the clients wanted. The same holds true for beautifully appointed guest rooms which are often occupied by the client’s children and friends. The condo has become a favorite family spot to get away and is in line with the luxuries to which they are accustomed.
