Best Kitchen
The challenge for this petite galley style kitchen remodel was incorporating enough storage without compromising the design in this open concept home while re-working the original design to allow for unforeseen beams and pipes.
This kitchen is true transitional, clean lined yet encompassing some more traditional forms.
Stunning Cristallo counter tops & backsplash, create a sophisticated mood. The waterfall counter is illuminated when the sun streams in through the glass doors. This once closed off area has been updated into a unique feature by creating an open area to allow jewel-like Lucite stools to sit across from each other rather than next to each other, typical of bar seating. Tucked at the far end is a small Lucite dining table, often used for a game of bridge. New European Oak floors flow in from the adjoining great room.
The custom gold hood sits like a crown above the stove, flanked by two open shelves filled with treasures from the sea to add a touch of coastal appeal. A fresh take on a shaker door, the latte-colored panels have a small lip with furniture styling. Appliances are neatly tucked behind matching cabinetry panels as sleek hardware adorns. Utilizing every inch, the cabinetry wraps an angled wall avoiding pipes and beams not yet discovered in the initial design phase. A full height cabinet allows for vacuum and cleaning supplies to be well hidden.
This stunning kitchen is beautifully designed for everyday living. Truly transformed from a Tuscan to a Transitional dream.
