When the homeowners bought this beautiful waterfront home on Naples Bay, the interiors were all white and ultra-modern, so the interior designer was tasked with adding color, warmth, and a coastal touch to reflect their love for the ocean. Immediately, she set to work adding natural elements and sophisticated backgrounds, including hand painted faux bois panels on the coffered ceilings, a textural fireplace wall, and gorgeous tilework in the kitchen and bathrooms. She also incorporated several personal touches and custom pieces. The dining room, for instance, centers around a custom 12×4 foot Abner Henry oak table, while the master bedroom features a floor-to-ceiling upholstered headboard with dramatic drapes hanging on either side.
In the master bathroom, beautiful tiled walls, soft wood vanities, and coastal shutters bring warmth and dimension to a previously blank white space. The kitchen was also revamped through the use of tile and color, with an added multi-blue fan tile backsplash and painted island.
When it came to the furnishings, the designer worked within a soft palette of sandy neutrals with accents of ocean blues to reflect the home’s waterfront setting. Bright, spacious, and inviting, the overall design can be summed up as casual beachside glam. With its abundance of serene impressionist paintings, beaded and rattan pendants, and coral accents, the home’s look is perfect for upscale beach living, yet still feels laidback and unfussy. One of a kind in every way, this home is truly the Jewel of Naples Bay.
