Clive Daniel Home – Luxury Oasis

For these homeowners with four teenagers, moving to Florida and building a new home provided an opportunity to jump out of their comfort zone of English decor that was familiar to them while living in Pennsylvania. The Interior designer set out to design a stately, classic, and yet modern abode that exudes timeless charm and sophisticated craftsmanship.

The homeowners fell in love with a two-story floor plan that perfectly fit their family’s needs and paired beautifully with the square footage of the lot. With a design intent that leaned toward classic and transitional, with a touch of “Bookshelf Weath” appeal, the Interior Designer worked with the home buyers to customize every detail of the home, including designing state-of-the-art kitchen and baths, feature walls, hidden passageways, dual offices, a grand staircase with another hidden storage, and massive outdoor living area.

The team did their due diligence in researching kitchen layouts to springboard the direction of the kitchen’s aesthetics and functionality. With the assistance of David Eldert of Design Works, the team went to work customizing every square inch. Neolith’s bold Calacatta Luxe in a silk finish flows effortlessly as the kitchen countertops. Spice racks in solid walnut flank on both sides of the 48” Wolf range cooktop and hidden effortlessly behind two 42” x 45” sliding panels, also cladded in Neolith’s Calacatta Luxe. The 11.5-foot long kitchen island received custom-fabricated angled mitered waterfall sides in the Calacatta Luxe as well. The length of the island beckons a chef’s dream Circuit Chef 45 1/2” sink, outfitted with a basin rack, colander, and cutting board. Four custom counter heights stools with duo finishes and leather seats align the island and offer style and no worry living with easy clean up.

Customization and creative functionality were top priorities. Entrance to a “hidden” 10’ x 8’ pantry is tucked behind a panel-ready swing door located between a full-height pull-out pantry and a 30” Subzero refrigerator. A charcoal and off-white checkered marble floor leads you into the dreamy, full-service pantry. Walnut cabinetry with mirrored doors and custom metal and glass hanging shelves greet you upon entering. A secondary 30” Subzero refrigerator and full-height cabinets finish the pantry.
