This Olde Naples home was custom designed for its unique lot and the client’s needs. Just six blocks from the beach, the house is intended to be a gathering place for the family of four from Switzerland to enjoy their Naples vacations in the comfort and style of their own home. We competed and won the job based on construction costs. Due to the original home on the property already being demolished, we began construction immediately after receiving the permit.
The architect describes the exterior of the home as coastal with its open layout and abundance of natural light that is accentuated with a blend of organic textures and materials. The exterior siding was designed to resemble lap sliding but is constructed out of stucco for a more durable and maintenance-free detail. The brackets at the front entry are made of real wood, giving a warm, natural ambiance compared to a synthetic material.
The outdoor living space boasts a beautiful entertaining area including pebbled tile, a tropical-style mural, an under-counter refrigerator and a grill and hood that is framed with vertical green glass tile. Just steps away from the outdoor living area is a beautiful pool lined with intricate Mexican tile. The pool deck is floored with an IPE Deck and includes the perfect mix of sunshine and shade to ensure the ultimate pool day during any season.
The clients actually lived in their newly completed home in Naples this Fall so their middle school and high school children could attend school in the US. They loved the house and its layout, loved walking to the beach but loved lounging in their back yard. The client added the painted mural to the back wall and we think it added a nice touch! We are as proud of this project as they are!
