The outdoor living area on this home is noteworthy, to say the least. The space spans the entire width of the home, giving it a massive presence.
As you enter the home you look out onto the vast pool area. The deck is clad in a sandblasted marble in a subtle grey/white tone. This is a unique flooring choice, as it is a high-end finish, but extremely practical in terms of safety, and maintenance. The pool welcomes you with a light pebble bottom, and an undulating waterline tile made of recycled glass that pulls in light gray tones mixed with soft blues that harmonize with the interior color scheme. The pool deck is outfit with weathered teak chaises.
To the left of the pool, and just a few steps away, is the outdoor living, and outdoor kitchen areas. These two areas are under cover, making them comfortable to be in year-round. The ceiling is clad in cypress tongue and groove, in a light stain that is reminiscent of the wood tones in the house’s interior. The outdoor kitchen features a generous 42” grill, and an undercounter refrigerator. The island sits separate and is more of a parson’s style counter height dining table, with (6) teak and rope counter stools. The cabinetry, and table base, are stained in a light pickled wash. The light countertops are a manmade quartz, specifically designed to weather the harsh Florida elements, and sun. The backsplash runs from counter to ceiling, really showcasing the height in this space. It is clad in a white brick for a beautiful focal point.
Directly adjacent to the outdoor kitchen, under the same ceiling feature, is the outdoor living area. It features unique fully upholstered furniture that are designed to withstand the outdoors yet bring the comfortability from the interior directly to the exterior. The Perennials fabrics are neutral, and light in color. Pops of color are picked up in the throw pillows that feature fun patterns to catch your eye.
Down just a few steps is the massive dock area. Here we have a firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs that are in a white powder-coated finish. The perfect spot to take in the beautiful waterfront views.
The outdoor living is a magnificent feature to this home.
