The kitchen of this home is one of the most notable features. The kitchen opens to the dining room, and the great room just beyond, which make it a central gathering area in the home. Custom cabinetry outfits the entire kitchen, pantry, and adjacent morning room bar.
The perimeter cabinetry is in a white finish that matches the trim color throughout the home. The uppermost cabinetry, and the hood are unique to the home in that they have a tongue and groove motif, rather than a typical door style. They appear to be just decorative, but they are additional storage to the kitchen. The range wall has a neutral backsplash tile that has a classic relief tone on tone pattern that adds dimension but does not overwhelm the space. Exclusive White Quartzite countertops can be found on the perimeter and island counters. The grand island is painted in a contrast finish, in a subtle tone of blue to complement the color scheme through the rest of the house. The tongue and groove motif is carried onto the island for a cohesive look. Three counter stools sit opposite the sink for casual dining, and conversating. The stools are upholstered in a cream and white woven performance fabric and accented with nickel nail trim. The wood legs are in a medium wood tone to contrast against the island and the floor. The kitchen features Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances.
The ceiling of the kitchen has tongue and groove painted white with white beams. Two woven rattan dome pendants hang above the island to bring in light, and organic texture, which is repeated throughout the house.
A separate pantry can be hidden by a closed door just off the kitchen. It has functional open shelving to hold whatever the homeowner desires.
Just to the right of the pantry, and really an extension of the kitchen is the morning room. It has an undercounter wine fridge, and glass front cabinetry for glass storage. The tongue and groove motif is continued into this space as well. The center portion of the cabinetry has a gorgeous grass cloth wall covered back and houses a small TV. Two oversized upholstered chairs, with accompanying ottoman, in a soft off-white performance fabric sit across from the TV in this space on a wool and sisal rug. This is the perfect space to relax and unwind.
The kitchen area in this home is warm and inviting, while capturing classic architectural elements, and unique accents that really separate it from the norm.
