As their “home away from home”, the homeowners hoped to spend most of their time outside, enjoying the Florida weather. Therefore, the outdoor living space was a significant focus during the building process. The end results did not disappoint. They built a 50′ long pool which also included a 12-person spa. This needed to be big enough to accommodate all of the family and friends they plan on having over for get-togethers. Next to their beautiful, completely tiled spa, there is a firepit with ample seating allowing for a great conversation spot. The pool area also included a waterfall wall, flowing around stepping stones, creating tranquil ambient sounds.
These homeowners loved to entertain friends and family. One of their major requirements was having a living space conducive for hosting large events. That being said, the 32-foot hidden, pocket slider doors were a must have. These special doors allowed for a seamless flow between their outdoor living space and their great room/kitchen areas. Creating an even larger area for all of their friends and family to mingle. Behind their kitchen, they had a butler’s pantry designed to satisfy their caterer’s every need; ample counter space and all the appliances needed to serve up delicious food.
