BCB Decor – Tucker Residence

A spectacular revival took place in this 2006 two-story Tuscan estate in the beautiful private gated community of Bay Colony in Pelican Bay.

The home’s renovations took place within two years. Many challenges were encountered including supply chain issues and a hurricane! The design implementation was to breathe fresh air into the home’s tired appearance without needing to structurally change the blueprint and bones of the home. This residence was designed to showcase the integrity and architecture while reviving the space with innovation, color, and livability. The clients wanted to dedicate this house solely for the enjoyment of family, guests, and colleagues.

The design started from a blank slate! The home’s interior finishes were all removed including marble floors, columns, walls, fireplace, built-ins, and the entry ceiling dome was removed. The renovation gave way to a fresh new look and feel for the home.

Entering through the freshly restored mahogany 12’ grand double doors you are greeted by a space that feels welcoming and relaxed. The great room shares the spotlight with the now open floor plan leading guests into the new billiard room, kitchen, and dining room. The spaces mingle together effortlessly with the new use of color and textures in rich navy, aquas, and creams.

Walking through the double doors to the master bedroom, The color palette entices serene greens, blues, and creams to create a sense of calmness. The textured grass cloth wallpaper along with the custom drapes and linens elevates the room to a Florida sophisticated level.

Leading up to the second story, new iron rails were installed with a contemporary appeal accentuating the loft… which provides guests with a comfortable living space. The decor envelopes soft shades of gray, and creams with pops of blue and apple green to make the space fresh and welcoming.

The 2nd story shares three on-suite bedrooms, each having its own personalities. All the baths have been fully updated with elegant porcelain tile and marble accents making for a timeless look.

The owners needs and wishes were successfully accomplished!
