The Avalon Model

Channeling southern California as its inspiration, this custom single-family model home caters to a relaxed coastal lifestyle, achieved with wide-plank medium-tone oak flooring, beamed and tongue-and-groove ceilings and a neutral palette of warm white and shale with accents of sage and muted greens, nickel, aged iron and matte black. Ornamentation and accessories are kept to a minimum, deferring primarily to modern artwork and photography, the greenery of silk plants, interesting furniture silhouettes, plus woven textures and grasscloth on the great room’s TV wall and wet bar.
Sold prior to completion, the model offers 3,003 square feet under, three bedrooms, pool and powder baths and a flexible study, shown as a retreat with a desk and sitting area. Luxury standard features in the builder’s models include Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, hardwood flooring, quartz countertops and custom cabinetry as well as saltwater pools, alfresco kitchens and three-car garages.
The kitchen introduces a combination of matte shale and sage green custom cabinetry. It features a large island with a workstation sink and a double waterfall countertop. The warm wood tone is repeated in the range hood. The adjoining great room offers a wet bar and opens to the large covered lanai.
Woven furniture imparts coastal design in outdoor spaces with dark undertones and a driftwood-finished tongue-and-groove ceiling providing continuity, heightening the connection between inside and out. Muted blue and gray accents echo those of mosaic glass tile waterline in the pool and floating raised spa, where a stacked stone wall repeats the gray, copper and subtle blue from the home’s entry.
The serene master suite boasts sage and watercolor hues against warm white with hints of metallics and noir furniture pieces. The luxurious bathroom features a freestanding tub position under a large window, double matte shale rift-cut vanities with vessel sinks and Avanza gray honed marble flooring and offset shower walls.
Half baths provide a canvas for masterful strokes – a gray-flecked hexagonal terrazzo tile floor in the pool bath and a sage glazed porcelain tile backsplash in the powder room.
