Client Relations
Prior to joining Clive Daniel Home, Kimberly co-founded Kennedy Prejean International LLC (KPI), a successful design and marketing advisory firm that provided design product brands with strategies for growth, evolution, and increasing U.S. market share. She worked with clients across industries, including private aviation centers, Swarovski Optik, Cruise, and Nexus University, in addition to several designers and architects of distinction.
Kimberly’s background also includes an impressive list of branding, marketing, and sales positions. She was formerly the CEO of the Hawn Foundation’s MindUP™, an evidence-based social and emotional literacy program for kids rooted in neuroscience and positive psychology, and the VP of Marketing and Communications for DCOTA, the leading design resource center serving design professionals in South Florida and the region.
Kimberly’s extensive background, combined with her love for design, architecture, and the arts, make Kimberly a perfect fit for her role at Clive Daniel Home. As a result, she understands the importance of the customer and places them at the heart of all she does. A pivotal aspect of her role entails cultivating and nurturing connections with esteemed builders and developers within the region. Through the cultivation of these relationships, she adeptly secures fresh contracts for both model and speculative homes, thus driving the growth and success of the enterprise.
Kimberly remains dedicated to exceptional client support, consistently exceeding expectations. In collaboration with builders and developers, she curates a selection of three design teams tailored to the client’s needs. While all of Clive Daniel Home’s expert designers are proficient in delivering award-worthy projects, Kimberly prioritizes fostering strong synergy between the client and the selected team, recognizing the significance of seamless collaboration, particularly for projects spanning eight months to two years.
Kimberly plays a pivotal role as a supportive liaison. She facilitates clear expectations for designers to meet while surpassing client expectations, nurturing a positive rapport between Clive Daniel Home and its clients, and fostering opportunities for future collaborations.
Project Management
Once contracts are signed and the design team is selected, Kimberly transitions into her role as project manager, ensuring seamless coordination between clients and designers. She leads a thorough kick-off meeting to define project objectives and review past work, providing valuable market insights. Kimberly supports the team by presenting visual inspiration, oversees production schedules, and maintains open communication with clients throughout the project. After completion, she conducts a final walkthrough, arranges a photo shoot, and coordinates a press release, showcasing the collaborative effort behind each project.
Marketing
In terms of marketing, Kimberly plays a pivotal role in crafting design presentations tailored for builders to provide their listing agents powerful selling tools. Recognizing the significance of these presentations beyond mere builder approval, she acknowledges their pivotal role in enabling prospective buyers to envision their future home post-construction. Kimberly views Clive Daniel Home’s involvement in designing spec or model homes not just as an interior design task, but as an opportunity to advocate for projects and offer potential customers a glimpse into their future lifestyle within these spaces.
Furthermore, Kimberly actively promotes Clive Daniel Home through her cultivated relationships with editors across various publishing agencies. She consistently keeps local publications abreast of noteworthy projects and significant events, ensuring the firm remains prominently featured and celebrated within the community.
