The Seasons PH20 renovation was an enormous undertaking. The purpose of the project was to fully gut and renovate a beachfront penthouse that spans an entire building floor, containing over 16,000sf of living space. The goal of the project was to create and offer an unparalleled beachfront Penthouse in a town that has many to choose from. Start to finish, the project was completed in 14 months, which is relatively unheard of for full condominium renovations.
The biggest challenge we faced was discovering 14 immovable plumbing stacks throughout the unit that required us to completely re-design the floor plan after demolition was complete. The project also included some major structural scopes of work, such as adding a 15′ long single-pane piece of glass in the kitchen and turning outdoor living areas on either side of the great room to indoor living areas with fixed glass, creating 180-degree views of the Gulf of Mexico. In addition to replacing over 300′ of metal railings with frameless glass railings, we replaced all of the glass and sliders with brand new hurricane impact glass.
From a marketing perspective, The Seasons Penthouse 20 is an unprecedented penthouse that reimagines the standards of luxury. The unit was completely remastered by a team whose superior understanding of executing high-end residences with unmatched caliber of finishes, is highlighted throughout. Encompassing five ensuites + study, floor-to-ceiling glass showcase glistening Gulf views, while 4,843 sq ft of terraces allows one to revel in direct water vistas to the west, south, east & north. The gourmet kitchen is without equal and hosts champagne eucalyptus cabinetry with reeded glass faces, white Macaubas counters & Miele appliances. The master wing, well separated from the living areas, includes a morning room, a lavish bedroom with wrap-around terrace & water vapor fireplace, a Gulf-front spa surrounded by a living wall, His/Her dressing rooms filled in the finest cabinetry, fitness studio w/ sauna & His/Her bathrooms providing the ultimate in luxury & relaxation. While the list of enchantments is longer than what space permits, add’l features include herringbone Oak floors, a back-lit Onyx entertainment bar + wine bar, three fireplaces cladded in precious materials & so much more.
